Dirac's R&D team is relentlessly pioneering the field of digital signal processing for audio and acoustics optimization, to bring the most out of every sound system in the Mobile, Home, and Automotive spaces. We're now looking to expand our R&D team with another skilled and innovative individual. In our R&D work process, you will be responsible for driving your own projects while sharing your experiences and challenges with the rest of the R&D team.
You will also be there to help bring your prototypes to the market by supporting our software teams, sales teams, and integration teams in their realization of the final products and customer value propositions. Where applicable, you will be participating in patent investigations and patent applications, as well as writing scientific papers, both internally as well as for publication.
Besides records of relevant studies and work experience, we expect you to have a strong interest and knowledge within:
• Digital signal processing algorithm development for audio and acoustics
• Time- and frequency domain system analysis, optimization, and audio processing
• Audio effects development and applications in music production
• Transducer and room acoustics
• Psychoacoustics
• Written and spoken English
It is an advantage if you additionally have good skills and/or experience in :
• Real-time implementation of DSP algorithms
• Writing scientific reports, articles, and patents
• Enjoying music and appreciating (and recognizing) good sound
• Written and spoken Swedish
