This Position reports to: R&D Team Lead.

Your Role and Responsibilities
Be part of a cross-functional agile team where your expertise in R&D helps shape innovative products. You'll collaborate closely with colleagues and contribute to meaningful solutions.
Design products in both plastic and sheet metal with a focus on usability and manufacturability, while maintaining and creating bills of materials.
Independently develop testing procedures or support testing activities in our in-house R&D laboratory to ensure product functionality and quality.
Participate in internal and external networks to deepen your expertise in the targeted area and contribute to ABB's innovative efforts.

Qualifications for the Role
A Bachelor or Master 's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
A few years of experience in product development
Sound knowledge of technical documentation such as 3D CAD data, FMEA, PPAP and PLM system
Basic understanding of agile principles
A solution-oriented mindset with strong written and verbal communication skills
Fluent in Swedish and English written and spoken.
Previous experience with electrical installations or a background as an electrician is considered as a plus.
