Your missionAs an R&D Engineer, you take part in developing new solutions for tool clamping, and you help us secure the position of our offering as integrated parts of machines used in the metal cutting industry. As we depend on great collaborations with our customers to make stabilized and efficient solutions with maximum flexibility, you contribute in building strong partnership and sharing technically advanced knowledge. You also scan the market to understand how we can keep a competitive advantage. Some of your daily tasks include:· Product development, modeling and verification of Automatic Tool Change, Spindle Integration and other tool clamping systems for Quick Change · Developing a strong technical knowledge and offering support to our stakeholders, for example internal product owners and production units, and external suppliers, universities and R&D institutes· Developing and improving our methods and processes· Planning, managing and following-up on relevant projects and activities aiming to increase our overall competence within the tool clamping area Your profileWe're looking for someone with a master's in Engineering, preferably within mechanical engineering, or with similar knowledge and skills from working with product development, modeling or simulations relevant for the field of clamping systems and machine integration. Experience of using CAD, especially Siemens NX, and simulation systems like ANSYS is key in this job. You also have an interest in, and the ability to, taking on the role as project manager for knowledge development projects. As we're a global business, you need advanced skills in English.
