We are now looking for a skilled and experienced manager who can lead and develop the Guardian department at New Business.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
You will build and develop your department to make sure that the teams and program dedicated for Guardian execute under the best possible conditions for efficient deliveries. You will be manager of and responsible for one manager, three project managers and a development team. You will lead your own operative management team for Guardian. Together with the managers, you will work with both operational and long-term strategical challenges.
You will work close to the Business and Product Managers and will be heavily involved in solution strategy discussions, roadmap planning, selection of technical platforms and following up on program status.
As manager for the development team, you will support and coach the developers in their daily work and personal performance development. Our teams work agile and you will support the team to develop their work methods.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
You should have a strong interest in developing organizations and teams. This means you will be able to motivate the people you work with, to create an open, productive and innovative work environment. Apart from this we believe you have a strong personal drive, enjoy teamwork and the leadership comes natural for you.
We believe you have a master's degree in engineering, professional background as SW engineer and at least 5 years of line manager experience.
It's a merit to have technical experience and knowledge of cloud solutions, covering 24/7 hosting.
WHAT IS AXIS GUARDIAN?
It is a cloud-based video surveillance service. The Guardian team is responsible for this solution and service and is about 40 engineers working with backend, frontend, quality assurance, hosting and 24/7 support. Axis Guardian is a complete service offering that delivers a world leading security solution that the users can rely on!
OUR NEW BUSINESS DEPARTMENT
New Business is an organization within AXIS with teams in Lund, Sweden and Prague, Czech Republic. We are responsible for evaluating new business ideas from a technical and a commercial perspective. We develop a number of innovative product lines outside Axis network video, to offer our customers the best products, solutions and services on the market. The department has market-oriented product and solutions resources and product development engineers.
