Electronics and Software, Husqvarna Constructions
We now have an exciting opening as a R&D Director Electronics and Software for Husqvarna Construction division. You will report to Senior Vice President Concrete Sawing & Drilling at Husqvarna Construction, and you will also be a member of the management team. Our office is located in Jonsered, a pleasant workplace close to nature, just 15 minutes from Gothenburg city.

Your mission and responsibilities
As a R&D Director for Electronics and Software, you will coach and lead a team of about 35 people (including consultants) in electronics and software. You will have 2 direct reporting group managers, one for Software and one for Testing and Verification. You will also be responsible for the team working with electronics.
You will be overall technical responsible for electronics and software development for all product categories within Husqvarna Construction. Which also means responsible for technical project deliveries for both new development and product care in the area.
Your team will interface and collaborate cross functionally with other teams, in order to benefit customer satisfaction, profitability and growth in the division.

To be successful in this role we see that you need to have a degree in Engineering, or equivalent level of experience-based knowledge and at least 5 years of experience from similar positions. If you have experience of outsourcing and of leading people at a distance, it is a plus. You need to be fluent in English.
