We generate high-quality testing-results, develop new and existing testing methods, and participate in cutting-edge research development projects, all to ensure we stay ahead of the curve.

Your Role
As a Corrosion Engineer, you will provide competencies in the areas of corrosion, with a particular focus on corrosion test and knowledge of corrosion-resistant alloys such as stainless steel and nickel alloys. You will independently perform corrosion test, including general and localized corrosion, such as pitting, crevice, intergranular, stress corrosion cracking, by using various methods, such as immersion, electrochemical, and SSRT. Additionally, you will supervise colleagues in performing corrosion tests and actively participate in internal and external projects on corrosion behavior of stainless steel and nickel alloys, such as alloy development and method development.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need master's or doctoral degree in Corrosion Science, Chemistry, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or a relevant field, along with in-depth knowledge or willingness to develop in-depth knowledge of corrosion-resistant alloys, both in theory and in the laboratory. You should also have experience working hands-on in a corrosion laboratory, knowledge of corrosion testing based on the international standards, ASTM and ISO, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently. As we interact in a global environment, we expect you to have excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
Furthermore, you are eager and motivated to learn and develop new skills as needed. Theoretical and hands-on skills relevant to corrosion cracking and hydrogen embrittlement are a plus. With a service-oriented perspective and as a true team player, you naturally interact and collaborate with others, but can also operate independently.
