The Sandvik Coromant Business Operations department develops the enquiry-to-delivery process, including process performance and global ways of working, by coordinating business on the process, and then implements those global ways of working. Our team has a international presence, and we are now looking for a Quotation process manager to be based in Sandviken or at one of our major Coromant offices globally. This is a position for someone who wants the opportunity to collaborate with our stakeholders at Sandvik Coromant in defining global ways of working and ensuring process performance in an international environment. Key performance areas
In this role, you are responsible for developing the enquiry-to-delivery process: its capabilities, process performance and ways of working for standard, engineered products and services. In this cross-functional role, you are responsible for developing global quotation processes and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) as well as setting goals for your coworkers working with these processes. Working in a team environment with markets, process stakeholders and IT delivery, you work with continuous improvements by analyzing what needs to be done, overseeing the change process and taking responsibility for roll-outs. As a member of the team, you are responsible for your own main area, but step into other areas as resources are required.
Some travel is a natural part of this position.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in a relevant field, preferably within industrial economics, and experience from commercial services. You have documented experience from working with process management, project management and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), mapping, KPI settings, and in the operational systems that support sales and distribution. Previous experience with quotation is advantageous. As we operate in a global environment, your verbal and written English skills, as well as your interpersonal and intercultural communication skills, must be excellent.
