Quantitative Analyst with an interest in games

We are currently looking for a quantitative analyst to work in the Stockholm team. Our quantitative analyst will use the skills of an applied mathematician to create logical and mathematical models in order to help build the business logic behind our technical solutions. The analysis is needed to optimize the operation of an online gaming product, as well as enabling new fields of business.
Your place at the table
You will be working in a team with specialists that take on varied and demanding tasks to improve bwinparty?s sportsbook product. The team develops and implements models that suggest odds for sportsbetting markets, as well as models for Customer Management.
Your gaming skills and experience
We expect you to possess a uuniversity degree (ideally Ph.D.) in Mathematics and/or some field in applied mathematics such as statistics, control theory or theoretical physics. You are comfortable with developing your ideas into working prototypes. You have programming skills and are able to develop your ideas into working prototypes, even though you are maybe not a fully-fledged software developer. Previous experience with sports betting is desirable and ideally you have worked with quantitative finance modelling or similar. You are fluent in both spoken and written English.

You learn new domain fields quickly and are able to apply your knowledge and skills to new challenges immediately. You work well under ambitious deadlines. You will work alone or with other experts but also have the ability to clearly explain your findings to non-experts in the projects you are involved in.
