hela Sverige Main assignments and responsibilities:
• Execute chemical, physical and microbiological food analyses including raw material process samples and finished goods
• Document, report and communicate analysis results
• With focus on Food Safety and Quality provide support to Operations Manager, Process Engineers and Process Operators
• Plan and carry out all laboratory tasks together with the lab team
• Maintenance and calibration of lab equipment
• Take part in continuous improvements
• Together with lab team and Tate & Lyle Global Lab support implementation of new analyses and lab equipment
Safety accountabilities:
• Actively participate in Tate & Lyle safety programs
• Maintain a safe work environment within laboratory by understanding and following regulatory standards and Tate & Lyle's Global Standards, including good laboratory practices
• Help and maintain a safe working environment within the plant by performing routine behavioural audits and follow through on corrective actions
Tate & Lyle Sweden is now recruiting a Lab Technician to join our Quality Team in Kimstad.
Coming from a background with laboratory work experience, we believe you enjoy working in a quality-minded team. You take initiative and responsibility in your work and are flexible and service minded.
Your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
• Chemical or Microbiology university degree or corresponding experience
• 3-5 years of practical lab experience
• Knowledge of Food Safety Standards, BRC and ISO 9001 is an advantage
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Good computer skills, i.e. Microsoft Office
