hela Sverige We are searching for an experienced and motivated Quality Systems Engineer in Germany to join our team for a major capital project in Northern Germany.
You will be part of the Factory Program team that will drive the planning, purchasing, construction and commissioning of our new battery factory in Heide, Germany. Built in multiple phases over 5+ years, the factory represents a multi-billion Euro investment project.
About the job
As a (Senior) Quality Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and maintaining a robust quality management system that aligns with global standards and customer requirements. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, standardization, and operational efficiency across our quality functions.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop and optimize quality processes/systems, aligning with global standards and customer requirements.
Ensure regulatory compliance across the whole plant processes, addressing gaps and fostering continuous improvement.
Cultivate strong relationships with customers, ensuring timely and accurate reporting and act as an interface towards them.
Monitor KPIs, analyze findings, and communicate results to both management and the central Quality and Compliance organization.
Preparing the factory for ISO9001, ISO1499 and IATF16949 certification and audits.
We believe that you have :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, preferably in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in quality and compliance management or equivalent positions.
Proven knowledge of relevant Quality and Compliance standards, specifically ISO and IATF.
Preferably familiarity with battery manufacturing processes, including cell assembly, module assembly, pack assembly, and associated testing procedures or
Experience in working with large-scale production systems and understanding the unique quality challenges they present.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
