About You
You are a person with passion for quality as always act with the customer, supplier and total IKEA in mind. You are a team player as easily build networks and cooperation with other is a natural way of working.
As a good communicator you can explain and simplify complex structures for co-workers and stakeholders and deliver key messages clearly and effectively in different forums
We believe you are open minded and analytical with the ability to see the big picture. You can easily go from a holistic view into details, and back again, always striving against finding better ways to develop the business and striving to meet reality.
You are goal-oriented and structured with a proactive mind. You inspire, engage and motivate people by sharing experiences and coaching others. You are able to lead change in the context of the IKEA culture and values, setting direction and reaching the goal in collaboration with others.
We believe that you have;
• knowledge and understanding of manufacturing and it's processes
• knowledge of quality systems incl. quality tools as problem solving, 5 why, root cause analysis and risk assessment
• a customer first approach in whatever you do
• knowledge about IKEA product documentation, quality standards and test methods
• experience of leading projects and its methodology and tools
• good skills as a trainers, to convey a clear message in a way so people get motivated and inspired
• university/ master degree in engineering or equivalent experience
• preferably experience within IKEA Purchasing & Logistics or IKEA of Sweden
About the Job
Quality Improvement Group (QIG) is part of the global quality function within Purchasing & Logistics and focus on the reduction of cost of poor quality and improvements in Customer Satisfaction towards IKEA suppliers. We are responsible for the IKEA Quality (GO/NOGO) standard and for the quality and manufacturing part of the IKEA supplier operation standard (ISOS). The focus is how to improve and control the production process incl quality tools, risk assessment and process control. QIG perform trainings and support the engineering and quality community in Purchasing & Logistics with the aim to raise the quality competence among our co-workers.
To secure all Purchasing and Logistics areas asses the quality standards in the same way, QIG lead compliance and calibration assessments with co-workers in the business at IKEA suppliers.
About the Assignment
You will perform trainings in IKEA quality GO/NOGO standard, ISOS and quality tools for trainers and co-workers to increase and secure the quality competence. You lead global projects within our quality field and develop/maintain and co-ordinate working methods and working instructions for quality in Purchasing manual. Connected to that, you will be part of the business review team as perform internal audits in purchasing related to way of working and purchasing manual.
