Northvolt has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Specialist to join our team in Battery Systems! Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society. We are continuously building a team of experienced engineers and great leaders with industry background.
You should be analytical and logical with an ability to identify opportunities and improvements to drive increased quality through data driven approaches. Strong technical abilities are needed in order to succeed in this role.
We are seeking a self-motivated and energetic Quality Specialist for our team in Stockholm to ensure the highest quality of future products for the future of energy. The Quality Specialist works closely with the Design and Industrialization team and performs receiving, in-process, and final inspection and test of the parts, materials, and assemblies of battery systems products.
Essential requirements:
Possessing knowledge of visual and mechanical/electrical inspection methodologies, highly motivated, attention to detail, and being comfortable interpreting mechanical and electrical engineering drawings and other technical documents.
The person we are looking for is a team player, curious and eager to learn. A background within battery, materials testing, materials science and materials engineering is very good to have. Especially the ability to manage method development and experience with validation.

Education/Experience
MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics or Materials Engineering
Minimum 3+ years of relevant work experience
Experience from automotive business or as a supplier to automotive business is preferable
Experience in developing analytical methods, standards, procedures and documentation in an efficient way.
Curious, technically educated and preferably with a strong manufacturing quality background
