FACTS technology enables power system owners to increase the capacity of their existing power systems while improving electrical stability at the same time. The end result is that more electrical power can reach consumers with minimal environment impact after shorter project times and at lower investment costs. At FACTS we develop and sell this ground-breaking technology to customers worldwide.
We are looking for an OpEx Specialist, who is driven by improving processes. You will drive actions to improve quality and productivity in the value chain, to improve customer satisfaction and increase profitability within the local business. We are looking for someone with not only the subject matter expertise in continuous improvement methods, but also the mind set and soft skills required to drive change without authority. You will promote and support the deployment of the local Quality and Operational Excellence (Q&OpEx) strategy to accelerate the rate of operational improvement, with resulting cost savings within the operation.
Example of tasks:
• Establish and implement Q&OpEx priorities and targets in cooperation with functional team members across all functions within the local operation, monitor progress and support actions on deviations from targets.
• Train and coach local teams in the standard quality improvement approach (i.e. Lean Six Sigma, L6S) to develop organization capability to continuously improve business practices and performance.
• Conduct benchmarking, internal audits, management system reviews, and sharing best practice within the business to embed a culture of excellence in operational performance.
• Improve Integrated Management System (IMS), and ensures conformance with standards, instructions, guidelines and procedures, to drive standardization
• Assists with analysis and reports. Act as a link in the communication of customer perceptions to guide the local improvement actions toward greater customer satisfaction.
A passion for continuous improvement is a must. To be successful in this role we believe you have sound process knowledge, administrative and analysis skills and ability to drive and close issues. You have strong problem-solving skills and you tailor your message appropriately to all levels of the organization. You are a flexible person who easily adapts to new situations. It is important that you are customer focused, to understand and meet customer needs, ensuring both satisfaction and a continuous business relationship.
You are a person with a positive attitude and a track record of delivering breakthrough results impacting the bottom line. You energize others and drive sustainable change through influence. You need to be excellent in command of written and spoken Swedish and English. To ensure success of initiatives, you work with a data-driven approach and you are able to build structure around data as a base for reporting, improving data quality and building a performance culture through robust data and KPIs.
You hold an MSc degree in Engineering or equivalent, and you have a good understanding of quality concepts and formal standards for quality (e.g. ISO 9001). Professional experience from driving projects with L6S methodology is an advantage. Preferably you also have a Green Belt or Black Belt in L6S.
