As our Quality Manager you have full responsibility for ASSA ABLOY 's quality management work in Scandinavia.

You will support the R, Procurement and Operations in Scandinavia by being responsible for reporting the key operational activities and ensuring that good financial and business data for all quality related and operational activities within Scandinavia is available and used to measure performance. You have overall responsibility for compliance with the agreed quality against customer and our suppliers and ensure priorities and speed for problem resolution. Core to the role will be the development of a structured Quality improvement strategy and way of working across the region, including managing Quality KPI's and strategic development of best practice initiatives.

The position will report to the COO of ASSA ABLOY Scandinavia and will be a part of the COO management team. The position will be based in Eskilstuna, Stockholm or Gothenburg.

What you will be doing:

Responsible for Quality Management within Scandinavia
Represents Quality in New Product Development governance structure
Quality assures New Product Development projects. "Quality by design" as part of the Product Development gateway process
Coordinates Product Launch activities to achieve "flawless launch" quality KPIs
Manages high-priority Quality issues and ensures correct and transparent priority for ongoing projects and operations incl Task-Force activities on Scandinavia level
Manages high-priority Quality issues and coordinates Task-Force activities on Scandinavia level for ongoing projects and operations
Establish and effective Quality reporting in Scandinavia
Provide effective communication regarding issues, objectives, initiatives and performance to plan.
Coach and support manufacturing and sales sites regarding ISO 9000:2015 certification
Performs other duties as assigned
Train and coach the teams using thorough knowledge of Quality principles and their applications and demonstrate performance improvement in the Quality area
Audits both at supplier, internally and customer side
Takes responsibility for continuous improvement of Quality Management System on Scandinavian level

What we are looking for:

You need to have strong business and supplier focus to understand the voice of our customer in all aspects of your work. You are a natural leader and true team player who remains calm and focused while handling several tasks simultaneously. You have the ability to build strong teams and to coach and encourage individuals in their development.

A relevant university degree or equivalent
At least 10 years working experience within Quality management with a proven track record of leading an organization in improving their Quality management
Proven experience of leading a Quality organization in a manufacturing/engineering organization with high customers demands - preferably gained from automotive or another fast paced industry
Strong engineering background with experience of product engineering and development gateway processes for mechatronic products/systems
Experience in high volume engineering product launches and production start-ups
Experience in dealing with supplier and operational quality issues in a high volume engineering environment
Experience in managing complex programs / projects and task-force teams
Experience to work in a matrix organization
Experience in leading and driving sites to achieve ISO 9000-certification. ISO 14000 experience is a plus
Good and proven ability to reach set objectives
Highly proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Scandinavia travel very frequent & outside Scandinavia occasionally
Fluent in one of the Scandinavia language and English both in oral and written communication
