hela Sverige As the quality manager you will be the plants representative for all Quality aspects, leading and developing the organisation, operational and quality departments in terms of quality and business needs, in conjunction with customer specific requirements and business objectives, in a continuous improvement cycle.
You will communicate with and report on a dotted line regular base with Corporate quality management in order to develop and implement uniform methods and practices throughout all locations of IAC Group Europe.
Among your principle accountabilities will you find development and implementation of the plant Quality Management System in the framework of the European Integrated Management System (EIMS), Customer Specific Requirements and the ISO TS16949. You will also manage and develop customer relations, ensuring regular liaison and business tools such as Quality Alert and are utilised to monitor and improve performance in parallel with customer reporting systems. Additionally you will manage quality metrics on the internal Business Operating System and other company internal systems related to quality (e.g. ppm, Cost of poor Quality).
It will be in you responsibility to promote and drive problem solving within the plant utilising proven methodologies to implement, verify and validate permanent solutions to known concerns. You are also expected to manage day to day quality concerns at the customer, Supplier and in plant in terms of quality performance. Your role will be an integral part of plant launch team with responsibility for quality aspects and you will develop Quality team and personnel needs in terms of skills and competencies required to meet business needs and continuously improve
Who are you?
You have an Engineering degree in a technical discipline and / or at least 5 years relevant industry experience within Automotive industry. You have gained a sound understanding of Quality, Business and OEM systems/standards, e.g. TS16949 / Q1, a good knowledge of structured problem solving tools and methodologies and good computer skills, conversant with Microsoft office. You have excellent presentation skills and are an excellent communicator, both written and verbal at all levels in Swedish and English and have proven leadership and management skills within a challenging environment, an excellent motivator, self-starting, with an enthusiastic approach.
