We are looking for Circular Solution's first Quality Manager to support our growth journey ahead. Your location will be Hylte mill and you will be working in the Packaging Solutions Division. You will report to our Production & Supply Chain Director.
Stora Enso is a leading global provider of renewable solutions in packaging, biomaterials, wooden constructions and paper. Our fiber-based materials are renewable, recyclable and fossil free. Our solutions offer low-carbon alternatives to products based on finite resources. We believe that everything that is made from fossil-based materials today can be made from a tree tomorrow.
Circular Solutions is a business in startup phase where we must shape a lot by ourselves including generate new ideas and come up with new products, which means a lot can, and will, happen. Circular Solution's mission and purpose is to find climate-smart solutions, preferably circular and reduce the use of fossil-based materials. Within their portfolio there are currently four different businesses:
Circular product offer (biocomposites, recycled compounds etc).
Fiber mats for transport protection and insulation
DuraSense® building profiles (sold B2C)
Circular services including take-back programs, product recycling and regenerative design

You will be our first Quality Manager, which means you will have the opportunity to bring your previous experience and use all your creativity to form your position. This also means the role will develop with our growth. Location is our plant in Hylte with the possibility to work from home up to 50 % of your time.
Some of your day-to-day tasks will most likely include:
Ensuring the stability of the products by regular monitoring and sampling. Together with operations and supply chain work on continuous improvements. Propose changes and come with solutions to the production team for improvements.
Establish and be responsible for our quality management system which fulfill relevant standards and business needs.
Handle claims related to quality. Seek the root-cause and find ways to solve it.
Being responsible for audits and participate in work with product certifications. Take lead on resolving nonconformities.
Analyze the needs, improve upon and support in the implementation of cross-functional processes to ensure operational excellence.
Set and approve products specifications, sampling instructions, test methods and other quality control procedures.
Approval of conditions for outsourced testing.
Regularly conduct control of raw materials, starting materials, packaging materials, intermediate, and finished products (including approval or rejection thereof).
Supervision of the control of the reference and/or retention samples of materials and products.

Qualifications
In order to succeed in this role, you have minimum 3-5 years of experience working in a similar role preferably within industrial production. Your proficiency is based on a degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or another relevant area, or you have work experience that can be proven equivalent. Experience from working within the process industry is an asset but not a requirement. You are a great communicator with excellent negotiation skills, and you communicate fluently in Swedish and English.
