hela Sverige You will be a part of the Instrument Transformers management team in Ludvika. You will manage the quality department consisting of six persons being vital part of the unit that produce oil insulated instrument transformers. We will in the autumn also start the production of SF6 insulated instrument transformers that will also broaden our responsibility within the PG Breaker & Modules.
Your main objective will be to drive our development within Quality & Opex to the Next level. It will provide you with a great variety of tasks. You will work with our sales team, production, test engineers and with our engineering department to coordinate our work to reach our quality goals and to support the improvement of existing products and development of new products. We strongly believe that everything can be improved and that this is vital for our success. A learning organization that continuously improve its knowledge, methods and skills is the way forward.
Among other things you will contribute with the following:
• Identify opportunities of improvement and assist the organization in ensuring are sustained
• Report, aggregate and follow up key performance indicators
• Actively monitor and support the maintenance of delivery process
• Follow up on deviations, support findings and encourage the organization to do best practice
• Communicate best practices and systematically errors to the organization
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits. As well as follow up findings to ensure improvement
• Encourage and support the organization to report savings on improvement work
• Assist the organization to ensure prompt resolution to customer complains
To succeed in this position, you need to be a senior manager with the drive and skills needed to manage change. Equally important is your interest in both technology and people. This position also puts high demands on you being organized and responsive. Given your confidence - in both yourself and your leadership - you successfully lead and inspire people to deliver quality work.
You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, along with several years' experience from managing product development and leading quality work within large organizations. Knowledge of working hands-on within a producing unit is preferable. Proficiency in English is a must, written and spoken alike.
You will be part of High Voltage Products in Ludvika. We have a worldwide ABB responsibility for development, production and sales of high voltage instrument transformers for power systems within both AC and DC. New products are developed and tested in our high voltage laboratory and the market we serve is global. The high voltage instrument transformer is an essential part in a reliable and energy efficient power system.
