Our mission is to make Volvo Buses customers the most satisfied customers in the industry. We at Global Technical Service are now looking for a new person as Quality Leader.
Global Technical Service is working with technical support, reviewing reported quality issues and initiating projects to resolve them. Together with the markets deciding the best way to introduce the solutions to our customers. We are working with quality to secure customer operation. We are based in Gothenburg but also have staff in all Volvo Bus Production sites Poland, India, Mexico and Brazil. We are now recruiting one Quality Leader to Gothenburg in Sweden.
Job description
Quality Leader is a new position in a team of four persons. The Quality Leader is the center point of communication with the markets on the quality situation and issues at our customers.
Leading regular quality meetings with the market companies
Reviewing new quality issues deciding on which needs to be addressed in product quality projects
Commission, scope and prioritize the quality projects (QJ's and PMR's)
Actively search for quality issues before reported by our market companies by reviewing warranty data and other sources
The Quality Leader shall have the mindset to meet and increase customer satisfaction by raising our customers' perception of our product.
The Quality Leader will work closely with markets, product development, technical support and warranty personnel. In order to describe the present situation as well as initiate activities to improve.
The position will offer the advantages of highly varied work assignments and the opportunity to work with many different units of the Volvo Group.
The Quality Leader will be based in Gothenburg in Sweden with some travels to our market companies, factories and to our customers in our global organization.

Qualifications
To be comfortable and successful in the role, you will need a passion for quality and a close understanding of the target group i.e. the customer. As a person in the spotlight, you will need to be communicative. You will be prepared to, in a positive way challenging other departments. You are skilled in bringing people with you, where communication, fact and energy are decisive.
You are a graduate engineer with experience of managing projects.
Experience of achieving customer satisfaction by product quality
Experience in Quality Methods to find project risks and do statistics analyze to of fault frequency to find product improvements
Experience of Vehicle Dynamics and Chassis components
Excellent understanding of all aspects of bus design
Proficiency in English
Travelling will be required
Advantages
