This is us
We are a newly formed group - Quality and Supporting Functions - consisting of a number of people and functions from within Volvo Group Connected Solutions, with a mission and a strong focus on keeping up and improving quality work throughout the whole organization.
With a mix of well know processes and tools together with technical and business know-how, energy, and pure pragmatism we are to constantly help improving quality in various aspects.
We now look for a new colleague with both the right skillset and mindset to be part of our journey going forward.
The role
Since quality is such a broad area we believe that the person taking on this role is truly comfortable in taking on challenges in a variety of tasks and contexts.
The Quality Lead will need to operate together with the DevOps teams as well as facing business stakeholders, be part of and drive change initiatives, work hands-on as well as be on top of our quality processes and agreed ways of working.
The Quality Lead will work in close cooperation and team up with our E2E-test team, our process leads/managers and support organizations.
Some main ingredients of the role:
Drive and execute local and central change initiatives
Be part of ensuring adherence to and improving of our quality processes
Act as a change agent in the teams throughout the organization - "walking the talk"
Manage our backlog of quality initiatives
Your profile
The Quality Lead will be a role with very high degrees of freedom which will require you to both be skilled within quality and IT work and also to be comfortable to take on a quite wide variety of tasks and drive them.
We rely heavily on our quality processes, methods and tools in our deliveries but as important in this role is your mindset and your ability to act as a good ambassador and change agent - in the end the vast majority of the hands-on quality work is done out in the teams on a daily basis and here is where your mindset and approach will make a lot of difference in actually "rolling out" changes.
You are able to adapt to various situations and a good sense for what's needed in individual case as well as to see the holistic view.

You have shown a winning attitude and great persona in combination with a strong track record.
You are customer-focused, self-driven, committed and strive for quality in everything that you do.
You easily interact with other people, enable collaboration, and drive improvements in delivery as well as way of working.
Experience from quality work and a good understanding of IT development in general
Experience from driving projects/initiatives
Process knowledge - ITIL, ITSM
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge as the basis for your career.
You are fluent in English. Fluency in Swedish is a merit.
You have a Swedish work permit.
