Additional information: Travel within Sweden and Europe, approximately 30-40% per year.
About the role
As a Quality Inspector, you will be part of a dedicated team that ensures the highest standards in quality for Oil & Gas and other complex projects, from the proposal phase to equipment handover to clients. You will work closely with project management, engineering teams, and suppliers to coordinate inspections and manage quality issues.
In this role, you will:
* Plan and perform inspections at our client's site and at suppliers.
* Follow up on inspection results and contribute to resolving any open issues.
* Participate in project meetings, supporting both engineering and project teams.
* If required, act as Project Supplier Quality Manager (PSQM).
* The role is based in Finspång, but travel in Sweden and Europe will be required. Expected travel time is 30-40% of the assignment.
* About you:
* We believe you are a structured, self-motivated person with excellent communication skills. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are comfortable taking the lead in inspection activities.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A degree in Mechanical Engineering or significant experience in the inspection field.
* Knowledge of PED, ASME, and/or structural design.
* Strong administrative skills and proficiency in MS Office.
* Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
* A high level of organization and attention to detail.
Additional qualifications (nice to have):
* Knowledge of additional languages.
* Personal certificates related to PED, ASME, AWS, etc.
* Basic understanding of electrical engineering and SAP/PLM2020 experience.
