The QI is responsible for supporting the Zero Harm and Zero Defect programs on-site, communicating and implementing quality and safety requirements and changes on site.
Performing turbine (site) inspections
Management of Quality documentation on-site and data on Workpoint / Quality drive according to process to comply with contractual agreements, controls and maintains checklists
Completing Quality Assurance snagging lists, performing walk-downs, creating NCR (& Sphera) reports
Monitoring the storage of components according to SGRE procedures (harbours, pre-assembly, on-site, storage areas),
Ensuring trace ability of components and erected turbines, identifying quality issues.
Following installation when needed, monitoring (spot-check) that work on-site is done by competent persons, e.g. repairing, installation, etc.
Initiate improvements, e.g. regarding quality topics, technical issues, and documentation.
Carry out inspections of reception and process of components, verifications and audits of processes in assembly and commissioning phase.
Monitoring of deviations from the assembly subcontractors.
Development of continuous improvement of subcontractors.
Participation in the investigation and resolution of incidents.
Conduct final inspections of components after electro-mechanical assembly and final commissioning tests.
Carry out model machine inspections with customer and Puch List after commissioning.
Support to the required activities of SGRE.
Support in homologation of new components.
