Saab is a fantastic company to grow and develop in! As our colleague moves on, we are seeking a driven and communicative Quality Inspector who wants to influence the progress of our submarines and surface vessels at Saab's business area Kockums.

Your role

The Quality Incoming Inspector performs and coordinates quality controls to ensure established quality procedures and norms are followed for material deliveries. Conducts technical and complex quality analysis and tests of a supplier's physical deliveries of material and documentation. Assists in the development of new methods and procedures. Trains warehouse staff. You coordinate, prioritize and communicate material status to your colleagues in both line and project organization. The work is performed in close collaboration with stakeholders within both the purchasing organization and production and design.



The main tasks are:

Coordination of advanced incoming material deliveries.
*

Handling quality deviations, both proactive and reactive, from a sourcing & supply perspective
*

Handle, follow up and analyze inbound discrepancies
*

Cooperate and collaborate with other quality functions within Saab Kockums
*

Compliance of regulatory- and Saab group demands from a quality perspective.
*

Business development responsibility in terms of material supply chain and quality within Sourcing & Supply.



Your profile

We are looking for you with a few years' experience of working with quality controls, quality deviations and/or logistics. We are looking for you with a proactive mindset, a structured way of working and the ability to handle a constantly changeable work day with many ongoing tasks at the same time. To thrive and succeed in this role you need to be committed, have a positive attitude and a strong drive to achieve defined goals. You need a good analytical and problem-solving ability and ability to plan and prioritize your work. We require an attention to details and want you to be accurate in your mindset. Since the role include many stakeholders and collaboration with people both internal and external, you need to enjoy the ongoing dialogue and collaboration and have high social skills.



Required skills:

*

University degree in logistics / production / purchasing / quality or equivalent.
*

Good knowledge of business systems and Windows Office.
*

Good technical knowledge.
*

Knowledge in logistics and purchasing processes.
*

Knowledge in Warehouse Management and Material Supply Chains.
*

Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written.



Desired skills:

Good knowledge in Aveva ERM



This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

In addition to this role, the MC&LD department also includes business development of Supply Chain and Warehouse functions and Order & Expedite function, which works with delivery monitoring and follow-up of order recognition from our suppliers.
