Would you like to be part of the quality development work at one of Scanias largest assembly workshops? Scania transmission assembles gearboxes and axles for heavy vehicles within Volkswagen group. As part of our quality team you will work with long term development of quality related processes in an international cross-brand environment. We are now looking for a new staff member with highly analytic skills, deep knowledge and experience within the field of quality engineering.
Your tasks
You will be part of the new quality engineering department DTQT where you as quality engineer will be one of our leaders when we develop and secures our quality related processes. Examples of task:
• Develop and implement a process for complex problem solving within the transmission assembly.
• Support our production management team when working with complex problems within our assembly processes.
• Work with Scania quality road map as project manager developing and implementing Scanias global standard within the field of quality.
• Lead the development of new quality related processes together with our external partners within Volkswagen Truck and Bus.
• Secure our long term development of quality related processes by conducting benchmarks and cooperate with other leading companies and organisations within the field of quality engineering.
• Take part in Scanias cross functional product development projects as quality engineering expert from the transmission assembly.
Your profile
To secede in this position, we believe you need the following characteristics:
• A passion for the field of quality engineering.
• A structured and analytic mind-set with strong problem solving skills. Six sigma black belt education is a plus.
• Experience within quality development work.
• Used to working in a cross functional environment with different cultures
• Project management skills
• Minimum three years of working experience within the field of quality engineering.
• You have a bachelor or master degree within engineering.
• Fluency in written and spoken English
