Outokumpu Prefab AB, Avesta is now looking for a Quality engineer. In this role you have a possibility to make the difference, to impact the success of our company! We are looking for a person who is passionate about working with quality, improvement, and sustainability issues. Will you become our Quality engineer?
YOUR ROLE
Internal quality. Analyse production data and deviations to improve the company's quality work
Product quality. Review and prepare delivery documents to customers
Participate in the development of our management system, which includes ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
Participate in internal/external audits
Participate in investment and production projects such as 5S
Support production in problem solving, customer complaints etc.
Lead and participate in the implementation of continuous improvement strategies within given process group
ABOUT YOU
In this role you will work both independently and in collaboration with others. So, we hope that you are also very communicative and helpful, a real team player with good collaboration skills. We would also appreciate good analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to see the big picture. We expect that you are proactive and have a positive attitude towards safety culture.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in engineering (e.g. mechanical, materials technology etc.) or equivalent experience
Previous experience of working in steel industry and/or quality work is an advantage
Knowledge of the quality and environmental management systems ISO 9 001 and ISO 14 001 is an advantage
You are fully fluent in Swedish and English
Good computer skills
