Active Safety & Chassis (AS&C) 96030 i seeking applicants for the position of:
Quality Engineer (QE) for Wheel Suspension and Wheels & Tires (PSS 80 & 90)
Department 96030, Quality Management, is responsible for management to secure proper product quality in the systems, components and functions developed at Active Safety and Chassis, as well as leading the work of the AS&C CMQ teams. The department is also responsible for securing quality in working procedures and lead the implementation of working procedures and ensure function of the operational system.
Position Description:
Campaign Prevention Specialist (CPS)
Quality History (QH) based on customer surveys, warranty analysis and campains
Competens support in tools for quality assurance; FMEA, P-diagrams, boundary diagrams, fault tree analysis etc.
Secur that development plans (KU-plan) and analysis & verification plans (AVB) include correct quality assurance activites - follow up deliverables
Participate in cross functional QE foras
Securing the timely closure of lessons learned (PAC/PRA)
Facilitate the PSS quality review and update of the quality roadmap
Together with PSS manager plan for the CBP and annual work with respect to quality improvment
Qualifications:
The ability to cooperate and work within a team.
Ability to act independently and to take initiative.
Service minded with a hands-on mentality without losing the big picture
Technical education with a comprehensive knowledge of the design and manufacturing in VCC.
Knowledge of using tools for quality assurance and dependability
Strong feel for Customer Satisfaction and ability to extract data from customer surveys
Green belt, Black Belt is a merit
Fluent with both spoken and written English.
Good knowledge of PC-based programs for analysis, reporting and documentation.
Reports to:
The position reports functionally to the PSS manager for PSS80 and 90
The position reports organizationally to the 96030 department manager.
