As a Quality Engineer you will work in our Quality Control department. You will work with deepened investigation of quality related issues and together with key functions suggest and develop improvements for our products. You will be a part of a team handling incoming inspection, final inspection, complaint handling and support for the organization in various quality assurance activities. With this position we will also strengthen our competence in areas of soft- and hardware.
Responsibilities
• Extended investigations for quality related issues.
• Inspect products, materials and soft- and hardware systems for defects and durability
• Identify the root cause of technical and systemic failures and recommend fixes
• Statistical trending for quality failures
• Prepare reports on malfunctions and corrective actions
• Procedure responsibilities
• Coordinate and work closely with internal teams to increase customer satisfaction by improving the quality of the product
Qualifications / Background
• Master's or Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent with long experience
• Previous work experience as a Quality Engineer or in a similar role
• Experience of electronic devices. Preferably from medical device business
• Competence and experience with statistical analysis
• Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and testing methodologies
• In-depth understanding of technical documentation
• Experience from regulations for medical device (i.e. ISO 13485, MDD 93/42/EEC, MDR, FDA QSR)
• Full command of the English language for both documentation and communication skills
• Additional certification in Quality Assurance is a plus
