Software Electronic Platform (SWEP) Solution support Quality & Launch is looking for a skilled quality engineer, who could be a part of Volvos journey to improve quality and customer satisfaction! Our scope is the product life cycle from launch in plant to end customer usage and reduction of failures. Quality & Launch currently consists of three teams, Launch, Plant Vehicle Team (PVT) and CMQ (Current Model Quality)
What you'll do?
Team CMQ operates in a complex and exciting environment responsible for engineering of functions and products within the Product Stream. The responsibilities of the team CMQ are quality issues and customer satisfaction. We oversee the work with finding, priorities and identify root cause regarding quality issues that are disturbing our final customers. You will be a part of the team with SWEPs best problem solvers!
Your responsibilities will include -
* scoping and developing the analysis of upcoming quality concerns.
* analysing returned field material.
* drive for ICA (Interim Containment Action) and PCA (Permanent Corrective Action) to secure Product and Process.
* lead Top and Critical Concern resolution.
* have a broad contact net to make sure we are aligned in all our plants.
* working through cross-functional networks.
What you'll bring
We belive you have a technical understanding on how a theoretical solution works all the way to the end customer including supplier and our manufacturing processes. You have experience within quality resolution, development and have product knowledge. You enjoy working with others and have a high ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English. You are a motivated person with good collaboration skills and ability to develop networks. You are eager to learn, have high integrity and have a high sense of customer satisfaction.
Meritorious:
• University degree or equivalent experience in the concerned area
• Experience in supplier collaboration.
• Experience in using DMAIC methodology (knowledge in Six Sigma methodology).
• Knowledge (theoretical and practical) in SW, Electronic HW and Mechatronics.
• Ability to analyse SW fault codes.
• OTA2 Knowledge
