Quality Engineer Body Electronics
The Body Electronics team, is responsible for creating the system solutions for Exterior Light, Sound Signalling and Visibility. The group is also responsible for the development of modules within body electronic area such as gateway modules, exterior light control modules and body controllers.
What you'll do
As quality engineer you will lead the daily quality work and drive for updated processes and work methods to improve quality. You will work with existing components cross the complete section but also with components in upcoming car platforms to include lessons learned from previous projects. You will work close together with component designers, system engineers and with the central quality organisation. You will also take part of warranty cost recovery actions and have regular contact with suppliers to analyse quality issues and implement improvements.
You will also
* Analyse field data and field reports to find fault trends
* Prepare for and participate in warranty cost recovery events with component suppliers
* Act as Task Force leader for serious problems, being the front contact person for quality organisation and the factory
* Review supplier 8D reports and follow up material status of returned parts
Do you fit the profile?
The position requires a person that is self-driven and active with good communication and documentation skills. You need to act with integrity and courage and have a customer oriented mind-set. Ideally you have a B.Sc. grade within electronics, physics, mechatronics, or a similar level of education. You need to be fluent in communicating in English. Green Belt education with knowledge in 6-Sigma and DMAIC process.It's considered meritorious if you have Experience from software or hardware design for automotive and a Black Belt education
