Vattenfall is recruiting a Quality coordinator for XLPM Wind/BiomassVattenfall is Europe's fifth largest electricity generator and the largest producer of heat and operates in Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the Benelux and the UK. Our strategy is to reduce emissions from power generation with a road map to achieve climate neutrality by 2050. Business Division Renewables is responsible for wind power and biomass. Investments in wind power is an important cornerstone to deliver our road map and we plan, build and own wind farms in five countries, onshore and offshore. Investment in biomass fuel is key to further reduce the emissions. We have about 330 employees.
BD Renewables has developed an adaptation of the project model XLPM for its Onshore and Offshore development projects called XLPM Wind. A similar adaptation in under development for biomass projects. The two project models describe how investment projects are carried out from initiation until hand over to BU Generation. Each model is focus for continual improvements through a governance organisation consisting of process owners from different functions in the division.
We are now looking to recruit a Quality coordinator who will coordinate and drive the work with continual improvements of the project models. The coordinator will ensure that improvement suggestions are identified evaluated and implemented in the project models and ensure that changes are communicated internally, drive the long term development of the models and support employees in their use of the models. As Quality coordinator your tasks will include - but not be limited to:
• Coordinator for the XLPM Wind Governance organization
• Coordinate the development of an XLPM adaption for BU Biomass
• Audit projects with regards to XLPM Wind
• Proactively identify improvement possibilities in the tools and documentation of XLPM Wind and support in execution of improvements
• Croduce all necessary tools and documentation for XLPM Biomass including process descriptions, handbook, templates etc.
The coordinator will also take part in the development of other process and quality related activities within BD Renewables.
Your qualifications
You have a higher level of education and a qualification/education in some process improvement tool such as lean or six sigma. You have experience from engineering industry and experience of large project models and continual improvements. You also have experience from quality management and quality assurance systems. You have experience from work in teams with different nationalities. You need to be fluent in English in writing and speaking.
We place great emphasis on your personal characteristics. We are therefore looking for a person who will enjoy cooperating closely with different functions in the organization and in multinational teams. Furthermore you are self-driven, organized, quality-conscious, and meticulous.
Location: London, Hexham, Amsterdam, Hamburg or Råcksta. The position will require travelling within Europe.
