Tarsier Studios is an independent game development studio based in Malmö, Sweden. We're a team of 50 that pride ourselves on being self-motivated, open-minded and result-focused. Here everyone is important, and together we aim to make the best quality games while having fun doing it. For us it's all about atmosphere, playfulness and quality.
Last year we celebrated our 10 year anniversary, and it was a year that also saw the release of our first two original games - Statik and Little Nightmares. Both games were critically successful and show that there is an audience for the kind of games Tarsier want to make.
Job Description
We are looking for a talented Quality Assurance Tester with a mind for testing and a strong understanding of testing processes and the skills to back it up. As a QA Tester at Tarsier Studios, you will follow testing plans from the QA manager and work together with the QA team to find all issues, making certain no critical issues are overlooked. Together with our talented Artists, Programmers, and Game Designers, you will play an important role in the second wave of original games from Tarsier Studios.
This is a 1-year fixed term contract where we require you to work onsite at our office in Malmö.
Main responsibilities
Will be responsible for thoroughly investigating issues on a specific platform but need to work together with your colleagues to identify cross-platform issues.
Ensuring there is always an accurate status on whether your platforms meets all hardware standards.

Is this you?
As a person, you have a passion for quality games. We believe that you are systematic and analytical in your approach, with an eye for the smallest detail. You also have great communication skills. AND since a large part of your communication will be via a database it 's important that you have the ability to formulate written text around issues you find in a clear and concise manner. Whilst we work very hard here, we still try to keep things fun and laid-back - so it's also good if you enjoy a fika and a chat with your wonderful colleagues.
You have:
Strong passion and knowledge of video games and video game platforms.
Excellent organisation and communication skills.
Analytical, motivated, curious, dedicated, and positive team player
Excellent knowledge of documentation management and bug tracking software.
Excellent knowledge of PCs, Xbox and PS4 platforms overall.
Proven ability to plan and estimate your own workload, and complete your tasks within a specified timeframe
Fluent in English
Willing to relocate to Malmö, Sweden
It 's nice if you have:
Experience in a QA-testing role.
Extensive technical understanding of underlying game systems.
Knowledge of Unreal 4.
Shipped a title on Console/PC
Knowledge of XR/TRC standards
