Purpose of the role:

The Quality Assurance Specialist / Quality Coordinator is responsible for driving, implementing and developing the quality management system, quality KPI's and continuous improvement processes within the company in a systematic and organized way.  Together with your colleague and your Manager, you work close with various departments, to ensure that the overall company policies are followed as well as compliance on all relevant Quality Standards.

The role is a temporary position of approx. 12 months because of a parental leave. The position is based in Billdal, Gothenburg and you will report to the Quality Director in Everett, USA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administrate/maintain the Quality & Environmental Management Systems updated
• Establish, monitor and act on quality KPI's
• Ensure adherence to relevant standards and certifications that are applicable to the company
• Manage complaints, external and internal - as the owner, coordinate the process and follow until completed
• Take ownership and lead corrective and preventive action initiatives and participate in CAPA meetings
• Take ownership and lead internal audits as well as help out with external audits
• Coordinate preparations e.g. related to external audits i.e. be the expert and drive the process
• Apply Danaher Business Systems (DBS) and related tools on daily activities e.g. drive root cause analysis
• Train and support the organization in methods, tools and processes related to the QMS, CAPA, Quality Standards and continuous improvement
• Develop and maintain a close working relationship with internal department e.g. production engineering, lab calibration etc.
• Manage local Environmental meetings as well as Lab management meetings and improve these going forward
• Actively contribute to the own department's development in terms of processes and routines
• Act as Project Manager for different projects e.g. implement the change of Quality Management System

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master degree within Quality & Environmental or other similar education within Quality
• 3-5 years of experience in similar role working in a Quality Department
• Deep knowledge and experience of ISO 9000/17025/13485/14001/14971
• Preferably trained to be an internal auditor
• Experience from lean, six sigma, kaizen are seen as an advantage
• International experience within a global matrix-organization is an advantage
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written is a must
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (word, excel, power point)
• Ambitious and positive
• Good communication skills, and the ability cooperating with others
