About you

We are looking for a positive team player who is passionate about creating value in an omnichannel environment. Ideally, you have 5 or more years of relevant QA / Test Management experience in identifying, defining and leading the software quality assurance agenda with the ability to learn new technology in both the technical and business dimensions within a delivery organisation with a scaled Agile/DevOps setup for digital products. You should have experience in setting up the automation framework and bring up the test culture across the product teams.

We believe that you are someone who can build relationships, connect people and ideas, and hold things together even when they get complex or unclear. You enjoy working in a high-paced environment and you have a proven ability to bring structure to a difficult setting. You get energy from working in a product-oriented organization based on agile principles and ways of working.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills are some of the given qualities you bring with you. You also possess a solid understanding of how to build trustful relationships with stakeholders of different seniority levels across the organisation and across markets. You have a strong understanding of IT systems design, testing, and implementation. We trust you are well acquainted with how to handle complex environments with multiple digital product launches happening across different markets simultaneously. You are delivery focused with excellent attention to detail and drive to resolve issues.

About the role

As a Quality Assurance Lead, you lead and work closely together with peers across the totality of IKEA to strengthen and contribute to a strong and relevant IKEA franchise offer. You are overall responsible for developing and establishing an overall quality assurance plan for the Product Portfolio within the Retail Operation Solutions & Support organisation.

The Inter IKEA Systems Retail Package is a set of standardized and well-established tools, digital products and services tailored for the IKEA retail operations business with Microsoft Dynamics 365 at the core including Business Central and LS Central, BI tool (Qlik sense), Customer Relations Management module and E-commerce modules.

You will oversee the testing of platform, product, or service to ensure adherence to industry and the organization's standards. You will be responsible for developing testing plans, creating risk mitigation strategies, implementing, and recording QA metrics, manage and selecting QA tools & processes. In addition, you support the team with planning, developing, and executing unit, system, and regression level testing scenarios on multiple platforms.
In collaboration with the other stakeholders (platform owners, product owners, project leaders, platform/product specialists), agree the test objectives, organizational test policies, test strategies and test plans.
Estimate the testing to be done and plan to acquire the necessary test resources.
Identify the need for test automation and implement it as appropriate
Lead, guide and monitor the analysis, design, implementation and execution of the business acceptance test cases, test procedures and test suites.
Ensure proper configuration management of the test are produced and traceability of the tests to the test basis.
During test execution write summary reports on test status if required/requested

Our approach is that we spend most of our time in the IKEA workplace and with the flexibility to work from home when relevant. This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) located in Malmö, Sweden. You will report to the Chapter Manager in ROSS.
