The department Quality Management develop, lead and support all quality work at Body & Trim through acting in Forward Model Quality, Current Model Quality and Warranty Cost Reduction for our products in all phases of lifecycle. The responsibility of the group Current Model Quality are to strengthen the deliveries in CMQ for Body & Trim with focus on today's cars, manage quality issues and warranty cost reduction. The group consists of employees situated at the plants worldwide and at the head office in Gothenburg.
The group Body and Trim Engineering operates in a challenging and exciting environment responsible for engineering of interior, climate, exterior and painted body & closures, including attributes like climate comfort, water tightness also seating comfort.
As Quality Action Leader - Climate you are responsible to lead the Quality Action Area Climate and you will be reporting to the Manager of the group Body & Trim Engineering. You will have the responsibility to define and lead assignments that aim to deliver solutions for vehicles and tools that are already in the hands of our customers. You will develop project leading skills and work cross-functional within R&D, Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Purchasing.
Main responsibilities
• Global quality focus worldwide.
• Proactively Identify concept related quality concerns and initiate sufficient running change projects to meet customer satisfaction objectives.
• Work closely together and represent the market for the area to identify early warnings from external indicators
• Drive for Interim Containment Action and Permanent Corrective Action to secure Product and Process
• Lead Top Concern resolution team and Critical Concerns.
• Take global lead from CMQ in the transfer of projects. Support and work together with project in launch phase
• Work closely and support the RCP during Industrialisation
Required qualifications
• M.Sc. grade within mechanical, or a similar education. We value both education and professional experience
• Project Management capabilities and experience
• Experience in working with quality item resolution
• Experience from working in project
• 6 sigma, Black or Blue Belt
• Good knowledge of the development processes, specific in the area of Body and Trim Engineering
• Good knowledge in English, both written and spoken
• Experience from working with Soft Ware development is meritoris
• Good knowledge from the automotive is meritoris
