Job description
At the LTE product development unit, our mission is to develop a world-leading 4G radio access network based on the technology leadership of Ericsson radio access network solutions. Our goal is to ensure that the product will be a technological and business success that exceeds customer expectations. You will play an important role in the development of the 4G radio network and your contribution will have a direct impact on the bottom line.
You are going to work with system designs functions as traffic control; your responsibility includes radio network traffic control functions and service as well as system interfaces and control signalling.
You are going to self organize Networks; your responsibility includes radio network Operation and Maintenance (O&M) functions, radio network configurations, characteristics, observability, trouble shooting and security.

Qualifications
We are looking for you who have the experience and knowledge to work with large and complex development projects. You have a broad technical knowledge and experience of Radio Network functionality with focus on Self Organizing Network, O&M or traffic control.
You must have experience of programming in C++, Java and/or Matlab and you have a strong theoretical ability and a good understanding of the functionality of WCDMA/LTE networks.
You have a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Data Communication or equivalent academic degree.
We put strong emphasis on that you are fluent in English - both written and spoken
In this role, you will need to work independently and take initiatives. At the same time you need to be an effective team player and you are also expected to lead technical teams. You will need to work against deadlines and be result oriented. We find it important that you are open minded to learn and will share your findings with others.
