QlikView is the Business Discovery Solution!
The product has been developed by our R&D team in Lund since 1993. Today QlikView can adapt to everything from a single user on a single desktop, to a client server solution involving multiple servers in multiple locations, even on multiple continents.
As a System Administrator you will belong to the Engineering and Operation service team whose main task is to support the QlikTech R&D team with e.g. supply methods, processes and tools needed by the R&D team to deliver secure and qualitative supplies of our QlikView products.
The main mission is similar to an IT-unit with focus on the segment between traditional IT, development and tests which includes but not limited to responsibility for the source system (TFS), building and release process, system administration of virtual and physical equipment and
tool support in terms of software.
Your responsibility:
• Administration of VMware platform
• Maintenance and development
of VMware platform
• Work with scripting and/or programming
• Handling of storage solutions
• Maintenance of security
• Responsibility for server Lifecycle
• Support R&D
Your profile:
• University Degree
• A couple of years experience in the field of IT- related work
• Experience of VMware and Windows and its virtualization
• Knowledge and experience of scripting and automation to indentify the right operations as standard processes
• Skills in scripting/programming, PowerShell, VBScript, C#
• Certificate in VMware a big advantage
• Experience of multiple storage solutions such as FibreChannel and ISCSI a plus
• Problem-solving, analytical, structured and result-oriented
• A team player who can work in a small, focused and agile team
• Ability to work independently when required
• Service-minded and good at taking initiatives
• Eager to keep updated within your field as QlikView is in the frontline of technology
• Excellent verbal and written English skills
