As a QlikView Release Manager reporting to our Vice President, Product Management, and team member of our dynamic products team, you will have a direct impact on the success of our sales and development organizations. The position will be based in Lund, Sweden.
Your Responsibilities
• Manage all QlikView release projects as they are handed over from R&D to Product Management to make sure that the cyclic delivery goals and timelines are met
• Create, maintain, execute, and communicate the release schedule for each of the release processes
• Coordinate product launch activities with Product Marketing, Corporate Marketing, Field Marketing, and Partner Marketing
• Work closely with the QlikView Product Managers to plan and refine the release process
• Continuously report back to the products team about the progress of the rollout
• Take ownership of the QlikView Beta site to make sure that it is kept up-to-date (and improved)
• Take ownership of the QlikView software download site to make sure that it is kept up-to-date and improved to meet the demands of our customers
• Communicate to the organization about the product release process
• Gather feedback from the organization on what information that needs to be provided from the release and download systems
• Build confidence in a speaking role in front of peers and teams of colleagues
• Build good relationships with the support, consulting, training, marketing, R&D teams and sales force
Your Profile
• University degree
• 3 or more years experience with relevant IT or software related project management
• Experience with modern methodologies like AGILE and LEAN
• Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts ? ability to quickly grasp the QlikView product line
• Creative and open minded
• Ability to work well with others in a high-pressure environment
• Excellent communication, listening, presentation and writing skills
• Excellent verbal and written English skills as the company language is English
• Self going and good at taking initiatives
• Have a flexible schedule to be able to communicate with colleagues globally
• Willing to travel approximately two weeks per quarter
