As a QEHS Manager at Santa Maria/Paulig you will be responsible for the fulfilment of customer, consumer and authorities demands related to quality, food safety, environment, health and safety. This role is located in our Tortilla factory in Landskrona.
In this role, the key focus will be:
Autonomously plan strategic and operational activities. Assure knowledge and way of working that is needed to fulfil and exceed the expectations within QEHS areas throughout the whole organisation.
Be responsible for closing any gaps between stakeholder requirements, legal requirements and existing processes within QEHS on the site in Landskrona.
You will be directly reporting in dotted line to the Operations Manager in Landskrona but your direct Manager is seated in Belgium.
As our QEHS Manager you will be part of the Factory Management Team and you will have two direct reports in your team.
Main responsibilities:
Assure and follow up QEHS KPIs Promote the organisation to work with a continuous improvement and target-oriented mindset throughout the production siteDrive development and harmonization of the QEHS management systemsEnsure that Santa Maria/ Paulig processes, HACCP, legal and customer requirements are complied at the Landskrona siteContinuously improve the QEHS processes by initiating improvement projects regarding process, product, environment, health & safety and systemsEnsure that the production site and products meets external and internal requirements, including legal and standard compliance as well as customer expectationsMake sure that the effect of all activities in the teams are reflected in the function, KPIs and performance such as lead time, service level, consumer complaints, COPQ, health related issues, environmental performance, supplier performance etc.Responsible for all coordination and represent quality in audits performed by external bodies, authorities and customersResponsible to follow up non-conformances related to QEHS parametersResponsible for the raw material and finished product, monitoring and analysis Make sure that the organisation in Landskrona has the right competences within the area of QEHSContribute in the strategic business planning within your area
Who are you?

You have a structured way of working and in a curious way, you strive to find root causes to different potential deviations.
Santa Maria is looking for a candidate who has:
• At least five years' experience from a similar QEHS role in the food industry
• Academic degree in food science (or equivalent)
• Documented good leadership skills
• Meritorious for the role is if you have worked with quality management systems such as FSSC 22000 or BRC
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English
• Good knowledge in food manufacturing processes and food safety
• Good knowledge in continuous improvement methods
