The main focus for the NVH operations is to develop cars fulfilling both customer demands and legal requirements. By organizing and developing core competence and advanced methods regarding sub system and overall vehicle level NVH and sound quality, our work support the programs in delivering premium products. The continuous strategy work leading to vehicle level target setting, and furthermore cascaded system level targets is the base for the operations. This is the input to system and component design, all the way supported by CAE and test based analysis, finally verified in full prototypes and followed up in production.Testing is conducted in test cells covering components up to full vehicles, and on test tracks or road. The department is also responsible for carrying out test for verification.
NVH section Attribute Lead and Quality have three areas of responsibility. Attribute Leaders are project managers within NVH and are also responsible for the overall project NVH deliveries. The Quality team secure that in cycle products fulfil NVH requirements and guides the quality organisation in NVH matters. The section is also responsible for the fulfilment and certification of legal requirements.
As QAL (Qality Action Leader) Wind noise you are responsible for the running productions fulfilment of wind noise requirements. This both means investigations of various production related wind noise issues as well as a getting an overall picture of the wind noise situation and strive to improve costumer satisfaction in this very important area. You will be working closely together with the quality team in Torslanda and Gent as well as with the NVH Wind noise team.
Requirements:
Engineer with at least 3 years of working experience with passenger cars.
Fluent in English, written and spoken.
Desirable:
NVH and Exterior trim working experience.
Meritorious:
Education: Noise and Vibration or Fluid dynamics.
