Responsibility
We are now hiring a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to AkzoNobel, site Bohus. You will be part of our new Quality Organization and have the possibility to join the team in an early stage and influence our way of working .The quality organization will support site Bohus' four production plants, and this position will be focusing on two of the plants (Hydrogen Peroxide and Levasil). You will have experienced colleagues in the quality team for support and discussion, but work independently in your projects. Your closest stakeholders will be the production managers and personnel at the plant.
As QA Engineer your will be responsible for understanding customers' quality demands and ensure that the QA processes needed to fulfill these demands are established, implemented and maintained in the Quality Management System. You will also ensure that the products in the plants are produced, controlled, released and distributed according to the Management System and customer demands. If there are any deviations and quality variations, it's your responsibility to communicate this to the local Plant Management and the Global sales and marketing team for the plant.
Main responsibilities
• Drive operational excellence in Quality Assurance.
• Handle Quality deviations effectively and efficiently, including customer complaints that are related to Product Quality Assurance
*Coordinate the continuous development of the Management System procedures at the plants.
*Plan, conduct and perform internal audits
*Host customer audits and audits from authorities (ISO, GMP)
• Follow-up and evaluate process changes by using statistical methods to support validation of products, equipment and processes
• Daily QA management support to production organization
• Bachelor degree in chemistry or chemical engineering
• Experience of work with Quality Assurance high quality awareness.
• Good Swedish and English communication skills both orally and in written
