YOUR ROLE IN THE TEAM
You will be joining a fast-paced development team and help us take our testing and QA to the next level. This includes everything from running manual test protocols to writing and automating software tests and improving our CI processes.
On a daily basis you will be:
• Developing and refining QA and test strategies
• Writing and automating software tests
• Doing functional testing, regression testing, black box testing, exploratory testing, ...
• Automating and integrating testing into our CI processes
• Finding and reporting bugs and issues (hopefully not every day!)
• And most importantly - work with great people building great products!
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Naturally, we're looking for someone who values quality and stability. Not just in products, but also in processes and workflows. You're thorough in your work and don't leave much to chance (if you do, you know the odds). You value protocols and checklists as useful tools for testing but also enjoy more ingenious approaches for testing edge cases and special circumstances. "I wonder what happens if I do X while Y" or "What if I enter this weird ascii control character" are not uncommon thoughts in your head.
We hope that you are willing to roll up your sleeves and just dig into the world of QA. Whether it's writing automation scripts or running through a manual test protocol you like getting things done. You may or may not have worked in a small team before, however it's something you feel excited about doing. We take great pride in working closely together and helping each other out, and you do too.
You might already be working as a QA/Test engineer or maybe you're a student at a technical program looking for your first job in the field. Although you might not have the LinkedIn endorsements yet, you have a relevant education and/or technical background with a bit of coding knowledge.
