We are now searching for a
QA Test Engineer
You will be a member of a cross functional team responsible for quality assurance of a range of next generation products in SKF condition monitoring systems.
Job responsibilities / Key tasks
• Preparation of Software/Hardware and System Test Specifications
• Preparation of manual- and automated tests
• Execution of manual and automated Software/Hardware and System tests
• Reproducing, documenting and diagnosing reported defects.
• Evaluation of new technologies/tools for improving productivity or enhancing product quality.
• Developing smart/innovative solutions to give SKF the edge in the market place
• Customer interfacing during the course of the development
Job requirements
• University degree
• 3+ years of QA experience within Software/Hardware or System testing
• Experience in automation using high level programming
• Experience of agile/scrum development
• Self-motivated, strong drive and action oriented mind-set with high sense of personal accountability
• Good proficiency in English language
• Travel may be required to support project activities

At SKF Hardware and Software Development in Luleå we develop industry leading systems for condition monitoring, including online systems, mobile systems, wireless systems, software and more. Our products are designed specifically for helping customers maintain the optimum performance for their plant's machinery. SKF's extensive knowledge of rotating equipment is captured in our products, enabling SKF to accurately predict bearing failure in our customer's equipment.
The position reports to Group Leader Engineer QA.
