hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Avalanche Studios i Stockholm Avalanche Studios in Stockholm is looking for a bright, enthusiastic and motivated Quality Assurance Engineer to work work within a mid-sized talented team on a new, exciting self-published title.
The Position
You will be centered in the Stockholm QA team but will be working closely with many different people within the different development disciplines. The ability to brainstorm, think creatively and provide constructive feedback is therefore imperative.
Your main tasks will be to perform functional and qualitative testing of gameplay mechanics, assist the core QA team with daily tasks, as well as writing and executing test cases. It will be your responsibility to report all issues into a bug tracking tool and have a firm knowledge of bug writing to a high standard. It is essential that you can clearly communicate concerns, work within deadlines, take direction well and can actively promote testing within development.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of professional QA experience (preferable experience from shipping AAA games)
A holistic and tenacious approach to problem-solving
Excellent English (written and verbal)
Ability to describe complex information in a precise and detailed manner
Knowledge of bug writing and bug tracking software
Console & PC testing experience
Desired Qualifications
An interest in playing games from different genres
Knowledge of current and next gen technologies
Education in fields related to games or/and testing
Beta or usability/focus test experience
Experience with debugging software and software crash outputs
