We are currently looking for a QA Engineer to the PDU poker client unit. Our team at the office in central Stockholm is responsible for testing our poker client. As part of our team, you get the opportunity to work for one of the market leaders in a growing market for online gaming. Working with us is both as serious as in a bank or a stock exchange and as fun and creative as in the gaming industry. We work according to the Scrum methodology and in small teams that are responsible for features throughout the process in design, coding and testing. As a QA Engineer with Ongame you will work in a creative environment with highly skilled and motivated colleagues.
Your place at the table
• Review requirement, design and other specifications within your area(s) of competence.
• Clarify diffuse requirements together with the system developers and project leaders for system requirements
• Take complete or partial responsibility for test planning, follow up and quality assurance of tests, status reporting and documentation
• Carry out automatic tests as well as writing and maintaining test specifications
• Have full responsibility for testing modules or new functions
• Verify all trouble/incident reports delivered as a result of corrections until the system is in production
Your gaming skills and experience
You have:
• at least 2 years experience within testing and a relevant qualification
• experience of all phases of the test process and be familiar with one or more test methodology and tools
• good social skills, be flexible, be used to working within fixed time frames and be prepared for dynamic developments
• to be an effective team player but at the same time be able to work independently
• skills in Unix/Linux and MySQL
• the ability to take responsibility and make decisions
Preferred skills
• SBTM (Session base testing management)
• Scrum
• Jira
