As our quest to democratize financial services continues at blazing speed, our Hardware Experience Area is on the lookout for an inspiring QA Engineer with a craft(wo)man mindset and a great deal of experience in Agile to join our Payment Experience Team.
In this role, you will get the opportunity to co-tackle a wide range of technical challenges together with a group of groundbreakers driven by the shared ambition to develop hassle-free solutions improving small business owners everyday life.
A glimpse of what you will get here
Part of our Money Alliance, Payment Experience has for mission to build a state-of-the-art SDK allowing our merchants to make card payments with Zettle readers in our apps and/or our partner apps.
Simply stated, this position is a unique opportunity to join one of our teams shaping up Zettle's Payments solutions and a chance to co-elaborate with a bunch of brilliant people making our Merchants' everyday experience best-in-class.
A glimpse of what you will do here
Your mission, should you decide to accept it, will notably consist in:
Helping us form the way our Merchants take card payments and verifying the quality of the SDK we ship to our partners.
Being in close contact with other engineers and designers to create a tailored user experience for our merchants and partners.
Working with card reader devices and all sorts of credit cards from different brands and markets (No worries, the team will be there to help you out).

You have strong analytical skills and technical understanding of product development and underlying system architecture.

The skills to exceed
Experience in apps functional testing (e-g- Feature/regression, usability, E2E and manual exploratory testing) on iOS and Android.
Good knowledge of apps release process and app distribution.
Know-how of iOS and Android development (incl. building and installing apps).
Proficiency in performance testing for both hardware (Bluetooth) and software.
Grasp on architecture of products including client and server-side components.
Hands-on experience of Unix and bash scripting.
Savvy with the following tools:
Git and GitHub
ADB and Android Studio
Xcode
TestFlight
Gradle, Maven
Jira
Splunk
Earn bonus points with
Understanding of concept of CI/CD and test automation framework.
Good knowledge of Java, Kotlin or Swift.
Familiarity with backend development and API testing.
Exposure to Fintech or/and banking industry.
