We are looking for a Python backend developer to be a part of our journey.

About the position
As our new Backend developer, you will work with backend development of our web platform. You will be working alongside 3-4 team members, who works in an agile environment with short iterations and ongoing code reviews/deployments. Here you get a chance to work in a growing team with other talented developers where everyone has a great impact on the daily work and the product. You will review as well as discuss highly technical solutions and implement your ideas into future projects. Other responsibilities will include close collaboration with the frontend developers when it comes to design.
The technical environment consists of Python and to some extent Node.JS. When it comes to frontend, we use React.JS and for the infrastructure we use Amazon Web Services (Lambda, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB and Cloudsearch.
Who are you?
To succeed in this role, we believe that you have at least 3 years of experience of web development within Python or similar script languages. You are aware of cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud and you are flexible when it comes to work independently and in a team. At the same time, you like being a part of technical discussions.
To thrive in this role, you are a person who likes to take their own initiative, find their own solutions to problems and drive their own projects forward. You enjoy a small but growing team of experienced developers at a high pace. High participation is also important at Flowbox!
