We are looking for a Development Engineer to work with 5G development at our customer 's company. In this role you will work with integration and validation in 5G cloud products and solutions. You will be working with implementation of virtual network functions on multiple cloud based deployments, primarily using Python.

We are looking for someone with some years of experience as Software Developer with a keen interest in Python scripting. We believe that you have an eye for SW architecture and are able to identify need for restructuring and refactoring of scripts. As a person you should have a high energy levels, are willing to learn new tasks and you are a team player who enjoys sharing your knowledge and skills with your colleagues.

Required skills:
• Good Packet Core application hands-on experience
• Good to great, Python scripting skills
• Skills as Linux End User and Administrator
• General shell scripting, e.g. BASH
• Virtualization knowledge
• General Datacom competence (TCP/IP, switching/routing, Wireshark, networking)
• Troubleshooting skills
• Good system integration/implementation experience
• Tool/environment knowledge, e.g. JIRA, Git, EriDoc, etc.

Preferred skills:
• OpenStack knowledge/hands-on experience
• Experience working with VMware and/or RedHat OpenStack is a major plus
