This is a brilliant opportunity to join a very Agile focused team of Python experts, where you will gain exposure to the latest python technologies.
The successful applicant will work on the latest development to help create scalable solutions for our equity crowdfunding platform he/she will be focussing on finding best practice solutions to work with banking solutions/integrations, OCR generation and cross site recognition and matchmaking.
The focus of the position will be Python development.
Requirements
• Python is not a requirement but the ability to quickly pick up a new language is.
• Preferably worked on banking solutions before or helped build their own payment solutions in their previous position.
• 2+ year?s commercial development experience.
• SQL, Linux.
• Experience of Agile Processes such as Scrum, Kanban
• Experience of software development best practices including Unit Testing, Continuous Integration, and Code Reviews
• Front End coding skills using HTML, CSS and JavaScript / jQuery.
• Experience of designing and developing REST based Web Services.
• Experience working with MVC or MTV frameworks.
• Experience of caching technologies like Memcache, Redis or NGINX Cache
• Experience of Django (desirable)
• Experience with JavaScript MVC frameworks Backbone.js, Knockout.js or Angular.js (desirable)
• Good understanding of Web Security issues (desirable)
• Code contributions to Open Source projects (desirable)
