Since early 2000 we have supported our clients on a vast number of projects, all over the world. Our consultant pool consists of Swedish and non-Swedish consultants within the fields of embedded systems, online solutions and application development. Now we are looking for new candidates to come work with us as consultants, on-site with our customers in Sweden.
• ** Python Developer ***
We are looking for a seasoned Python Developer that will work with a client project. For this position you will need at least 4-5 years of experience working with Python. The tasks consist of both feature development and support.
Required competence:
• ) Python
• ) Git
• ) Gerrit
• ) Software development in Linux environment
• ) Test Frameworks
• ) JavaScript is meriting (non-mandatory)
Qualifying skills:
It is an advantage to have worked with the development of test framework. The consultant will be part of a small team that works with 3 internally developed tools:
• ) ATF (Automated Test Framework) is a test framework developed in Python that is used for testing and verification.
• ) FWRT (Firware Release Tool) is a tool developed in Python that is used to build and assemble releases. The tool acts as a spider in the network and interfaces many other tools in the development chain, eg. Jenkins, Artifactory, Gerrit
• ) PRNM (Product Release Notes Manager) is a tool written in Python / JavaScript to compile release notes containing an overview of changes introduced in new firmware releases. The tool retrieves information from the case management system and version management system.
Personal characteristics:
• ) Driven developer who gets the right things done and who can engage and motivate the team
• ) Quickly absorb new knowledge
• ) Good communication skills
• ) Good at creating contacts outside your own team
Start: asap.
Duration: 12-24 months on site in Sweden, with a high probability for extension.
Extent: Full-time, 40h/week. Paid overtime can be requested by the customer.
Compensation: Negotiable. We offer a competitive salary, primarily in the form of a longterm employment and according to Swedish standards; governmental pension plan, five weeks paid vacation, iPad/laptop, mobile phone with data plan subscription, priority medical care insurance, health care insurance, income level insurance, work liability insurance, language course support, sports activity contribution.
For Schengen-citizens, there is also an option to undertake the assignment as a subcontractor to Telescope.
