The VCC STA department is divided in to six sections:
Program STA, Program STA joint platforms, PVT/Manufacturing Support, Site STA, Strategy & Business Office and Parts/Accessories & Special Vehicles.
The responsibility of the Supplier Technical Assistance department is to ensure quality in all purchased material in cooperation with our Suppliers.
In our work we make sure that our Suppliers meet required quality level and bought capacity.
Job Description:
Major position responsibilities are:
Represent STA organization by supporting Plant Vehicle Team
activities related to Supplier process related field concerns during analysis, problem solving and corrective action implementation phase. (Supplier process related = non-conformance to specification, material supplied by external supplier; Corrective action = review and improve QA of supplier process).
Analyze and prioritize material related quality problems from field
Coordinate and follow-up Supplier process related quality tasks from the field
Define and follow-up short term / long term action plans for Supplier process related quality tasks, involving suppliers and / or Site STA.
Document corrective actions for Supplier process related field
problems, including root cause, actions and set limits for the break
point for deliveries of corrected parts.In case of support needed from Site STA, address and follow-up action plan verifications performed by Site STA.
Develop and present management reports for Supplier process related field-problems.
Assist in Warranty Cost Recovery activities.
Profile Qualifications Requirements:
Be experienced in production/production technique, design and quality
Be proficient in English
Have knowledge about quality tools such as FMEA, Control Plan, 8D, Six Sigma
Profile Qualifications Preferred:
Experience within STA, Body & Trim development/sourcing is an asset for for the position.
Personal Qualities Requirements:
Good communication and cooperation skills are highly appreciated
Have a strong drive to reach results
High social skills and customer focus
Ability to listen and coach
Ability to manage multiple items at the same time without loosing focus or quality
Strong interpersonal and analytical skills, and the ability to work
within a multidiscipline / multicultural team
Language skills:
English, preferred
Education Required:
Education on university level or equivalent experience
