Midsummer is now searching for a PV Production Manager for our factory in Järfälla.
Midsummer AB is a Swedish innovation of solar energy, manufactured and designed in Stockholm. Midsummer has grown from being a small company with the idea of creating sustainable solar cell technology to a listed company with over 100 employees, with plans to continue this growth journey.
The PV Production Manager supervises the daily operations of the production facility. You will work closely and coordinates tasks with the Production Personnel Manager, Quality Manager, Technician Department, R&D Manager etc. You will have a close communication with the Sales Department regarding the order lead time. The factory manager also provides order forecasts for the purchase department for them to calculate material needs.
Main duties
- Report performance indicators and other types of indicators to relevant departments and functions.
- Creates the production scheduling for the different type of products produced.
- Implements changes for production improvement.
- Works in projects oriented towards minimize material waste.
Your profile
Has a relevant degree or possesses equivalent knowledge.
Experience from manufacturing and the solar panel industry.
Speaks and writes fluently in both Swedish and English.
Midsummer is a Swedish solar energy company that installs discrete solar roofs that we manufacture in Järfälla with 90% lower carbon footprint than traditional solar panels. We have a high-tech, Swedish product and own the entire value chain from development and production to installation. Under the Midsummer Machinery brand, we supply production systems for flexible thin-film solar cells.
Midsummer controls the entire value chain from manufacturing equipment to finished solar roofs. This has been achieved through the development of advanced solutions for mass production of flexible thin-film solar cells.
We were founded in 2004 and today have 130 employees in Sweden. We are in an expansive phase and have begun construction of a new factory in Italy. We intend to continue to expand both in Sweden and internationally.
